Today:
I've been promoted to System Admin in the Engineering department at Squarespace! I'm no longer doing customer support and am on track in a real career. Hard work truly does pay off.
Squarespace flew me to New York to train for 2 weeks, where I was lucky enough to stay in south Manhattan! View from my room:

The weather was extremely hot in August, but so very beautiful.
Traveling alone is the absolute best. You can do whatever you want whenever you want.
The Museum of Natural History was by far my favorite visit. I spent 4 hours walking around!
In other news, Kristina and JJ got married!!!
I found out while I was in New York, and was able to purchase my flight the week before they got hitched at the court house on September 1st! After 18 years of living in Arizona, they decided to move to Los Angeles for jobs in animation and business.
Kristina was married on the 1st, graduated with her masters in Business on the 8th, and moved to California on the 21st. A bit too much happening in three weeks, but they did it!!
With all the hustle and bustle for packing, moving, life and job changes, my wedding present was a hotel for their wedding night!
I was lucky enough to work remotely in Arizona, so I didn't have to miss any work in my new position. Mom was able to fly down last minute as well, and us 3 girls had a great time together. :)
The boys were sadly unable to attend the short-noticed wedding. They tried to get flights earlier in the summer when Kristina brought it up, but Kristina and JJ didn't finalize anything until the week prior, since they weren't sure when/if they'd get married this year.

Johnnie was also recently promoted at Graton casino to Slot Manager!
Dad's been in Maui with Marquies, and Joey and Stephanie were lucky enough to go visit this year!
As for my sewing endeavors, Nana, I've been dying to show you my quilt results!!!
Here's the quilt I made for my friend Katie's baby boy, Roald. I took you advice and added more color to it! He absolutely loved it. :)
