Beaches / Scenic
Kamaole Beach Park I, II & III - Walk all of these from your place, super pretty and well worth it
Kihei boat landing - Beautiful lava walkway to see into the water for sunsets! TURTLES!
Shopping
ABC Store’s
This is Hawaii’s convenient store, but is locally owned and operated. All of the souvenir stuff you’ll need. You’ll definitely want to go here as absurd as it sounds lol
Pop-up shops only on Saturday’s 9am-4pm
This is where I buy all my sarongs >.>
Plausible negotiations on $$
Kalana Village (20min walk)
Locally owned shops - staple if looking for stuff. Generally can barter a wee bit, but not much.
Food
Minute walk from your place
Next to my dads
Wailea
Start @ Keawakapu II Beach Park (Dad & Marquis got married here, their favorite beach!)
Or, Start at The Shops At Wailea
Long* walk (3+ mi there and back) through some of the nicest hotels and against the edge of the water - absolutely beautiful. Can easily stop at any beach, restaurant or shops along the way
CURRENTLY CLOSED :(
Bamboo forest I was hoping to recommend, but permanently closed
Pipiwai Trail (waterfalls, bamboo forest, banyan tree) - currently closed to get there- road on both sides is being worked on and closed for the next 5mo
